We often get asked whether Figma files are private. The answer is: it depends.If you are working on a personal project, then your Figma file will be private by default. However, if you are working on a team project, then your file will be shared with your team members by default.

You can control the privacy settings for your Figma file by clicking the “Share” button in the top-right corner of the editor. This will open the sharing settings dialog, where you can choose to share your file with specific people, or make it public.

If you share your file with specific people, they will need to have a Figma account in order to view or edit the file. You can also choose to give them access to only certain parts of the file, or give them read-only access.
