How Do I Create a Drip Effect in Photoshop?

A drip effect is a very popular text effect, and it's easy to create in Photoshop. First, open a new document and type some text. I'm using the color #000000 for my text. Next, go to Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options and check the "Gradient Overlay" checkbox.Choose a black to white gradient for the gradient overlay, and set the blending mode to "Multiply". Finally, go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and apply a fairly strong blur (I used a radius of 10 pixels). That's it! Your text should now have a nice drip effect.

To style your text using HTML tags, simply enclose the text you want to style in the appropriate tags. For example, this text will be bold, this text will be underlined, and this text will be italic. You can also combine tags, so this text will be bold and underlined. Pretty simple, right?
