Adding a lens flare to a photo can give it an extra bit of flair to make it stand out. Lens flares can be created in Photoshop with a few simple steps:

1. Open your image in Photoshop. Go to File > Open and navigate to the image you want to open. Once your image is open, create a new layer by clicking on the “Create a new layer” icon at the bottom of the Layers panel (it looks like a sheet of paper).

2. Click on the “Add noise” filter. Go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise. In the Add Noise dialog box, set the amount of noise you want to add. A higher amount will create more pronounced lens flares. You can also check the “Monochromatic” box to add noise that’s all one color.

3.Apply the “Lens Flare” filter. Go to Filter > Render > Lens Flare. In the Lens Flare dialog box, choose the type of lens flare you want to add from the drop-down menu. The preview window will show you how your flare will look. When you’re happy with the results, click “OK”.

4. Position your lens flare. Use the Move tool (shortcut: V) to position your lens flare where you want it in your image. If you need to resize your flare, go to Edit > Transform > Scale or Edit > Free Transform.

5. Adjust the opacity of your lens flare layer. If your lens flare is too pronounced, you can tone it down by reducing the opacity of the layer. To do this, go to Layer > Layer Style > Opacity and reduce the opacity until your lens flare looks good.
