In this tutorial, we'll learn how to create a starburst brush in Photoshop! We'll start by creating a new Photoshop document and then adding a couple of different shapes to it. Next, we'll use the Pen Tool to create a path around the shapes.Once we have our path, we'll head over to the Brushes panel and create a new brush using the settings that we'll choose. After we have our brush created, we'll apply it to a layer and then experiment with different brush settings to get the look that we want. By the end of this tutorial, you'll be able to create your own starburst brush in Photoshop! So let's get started!
Step 1: Create a New Photoshop Document
The first thing we need to do is create a new Photoshop document. To do this, go to File > New or press Ctrl+N on your keyboard. This will open up the New Document dialog box.In this dialog box, you'll want to set the Width and Height to 500 pixels each. Then, set the Resolution to 300 pixels/inch and click on the Create button. This will create a new Photoshop document for us to work with.
Step 2: Add Some Shapes to the Document
Now that we have our document created, let's add some shapes to it. For this tutorial, I'm going to be using two circles and one square. You can use whatever shapes you want for your brush though. To add a shape, simply select the Shape Tool from the Toolbar or press U on your keyboard. Then, choose the color that you want your shape to be and click-and-drag out your shape on the canvas.
