Overlay is one of the great features in Figma that allows you to quickly see how different design elements interact with one another. By using the Overlay Mode, you can easily compare two or more design elements to see how they work together. To enter Overlay Mode, simply select the elements that you want to compare and click on the Overlay button in the toolbar.

In Overlay Mode, each of the selected elements will be placed on top of each other.You can then use the mouse to move and resize the elements, as well as change their stacking order. This is a great way to see how different design elements would work together in a real-world scenario. You can also use the Overlay Mode to quickly prototype different design concepts.

To exit Overlay Mode, simply click on the Exit button in the toolbar. Alternatively, you can also press the Esc key on your keyboard.
