Where Are Photoshop Actions Stored?

When you install Photoshop on your computer, it creates a default set of Actions. You can find these Actions by opening the Actions Panel (Window > Actions).

The default set of Actions includes several pre-made actions, such as "Resize Image" and "Save for Web." There are also some blank action slots that you can use to create your own custom actions.

If you want to create a new set of actions, you can do so by clicking the "Create new set" button at the bottom of the Actions Panel. This will open a dialog box where you can enter a name for your new set.

Once you've created a new set, you can add actions to it by clicking the "Create new action" button. This will open another dialog box where you can enter a name and description for your action.

To record an action, simply click the "Record" button at the bottom of the Actions Panel. Photoshop will then begin recording your steps. To stop recording, click the "Stop" button.

Once you've recorded an action, you can play it back by clicking the "Play" button. You can also add keyboard shortcuts to actions by clicking the "Edit" button.

So where are Photoshop actions stored? By default, they're stored in the following location:

C:\\Users\\[username]\\Documents\\Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 Settings\\Actions

However, you can change this location if you want to store your actions elsewhere. To do so, simply click the "Browse" button at the bottom of the Actions Panel.

Photoshop actions are stored in a default location on your computer, but you can change this location if you want to store them elsewhere.
